Carolyn 'C.J.' Lowe |
Deep Tissue & Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Reflexology and Aromatherapy Carolyn 'C.J.' Lowe is a graduate of the Tennessee Institute of Healing Arts in Chattanooga, TN, and the International Academy of Neuromuscular Therapy in St. Petersburg, FL. Her extensive certified training also includes the Fuller Lymphatic Method of Massage, Lymph Drainage Therapy (through the Upledger Institute), Zen Trigger Point Anatomy, Touch For Health II, Reiki II, and the Zollinger Body Systems Method of Reflexology and Aromatherapy. C.J. is an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association, the Georgia Reflexology Organization, and the National Certification Board of Massage Therapists and Bodyworkers. She is also a member of the Human Ecology Action League of Atlanta, an organization dedicated to the protection of our environment. C.J. is an instructor at the Heal Center and the Rising Spirit School of Massage Excellence in Atlanta, where she teaches the Zollinger Body Systems Method of Reflexology. She is also a member of the teaching staff of Educational Beauty Resources, a Georgia State continuing education provider for cosmetology and esthetics, where she teaches Facial Lymphatic Drainage. C.J. has a thriving practice at the Heal Center, and in her spare time enjoys making aromatic essential oil blends and herbal medicine formulas. She makes and distributes 'Ancient Cones with Herbs,' and is a distributor of Nature’s Sunshine Herbal Products. C.J. has more than 15 years' experience as a professional practitioner of massage and bodywork therapies. Although she specializes in Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), she has found that integrating Swedish, Deep Tissue, Energy Work, Reflexology, and personal Aromatherapy blends with NMT and MLD is highly effective in restoring balance and wellness of body, mind, and spirit.
