Reiki, Aura-Soma®, Shiatsu and Reflexlogy

Michal Spiegelman is a native of Israel and holds a degree in social work from Bar-Ilan University as well as a music degree from the Talpiot Institute. She worked for 15 years as a kindergarten music teacher before being drawn towards natural therapies following several traumatic personal events. "I wasn't taking enough care of myself and was searching for something to help me become focused again."

Michal became interested in meditation, and while in Germany studied Zen meditation, Osho meditation, Shiatsu, and Reiki at Medisin and Ulm Colleges. It was during her tenure at Ulm College that her life was changed - following her introduction to the wonderful world of colors called Aura-Soma®. Michal studied Aura-Soma® at the International Academy of Colours Therapeutics in England, where she became a certified practitioner. At the same time, her commitment to Reiki and Shiatsu were deepened when she discovered that the three therapies worked together in perfect harmony.

Michal moved with her family to Atlanta in July 2001, and began working at the Heal Center soon after arriving. She has enriched her therapeutic skills through training in Reflexology and Aromatherapy with Roz Zollinger.

Michal currently offers Reiki classes at the Heal Center, including Reiki Levels l and ll, and the Reiki Master Level. She is also hosts Reiki Circles, open to Reiki practitioners of all levels, and offers group workshops and talks on Reiki and Aura-Soma®.
